The excitement is building.....

Where to stay...

There are a variety of lodging options in the Chelan/Manson area with everything from luxury homes to camp spots so there is something for everyone. Our families will be staying in a couple homes that are in the Manson area which is on the Northshore of Lake Chelan from June 14-21st of 2009.

We will continue to update this list and we will also research other possibilities for lodging. If there are people who would like to share lodging with others to reduce costs but do not have anyone to share the place with please contact us and we can possibly connect you with other like minded people to share a lodging with. Please do not hesisitate to contact us for any reason as we will do what we can to ensure that everyone enjoys their experiences.

Our Wedding Vision

We envision a wedding that is all about sharing our love with our families and friends.  We are not organizing or envisioning a high-end formal wedding but rather a casual family style wedding and atmosphere. 

Please do not over dress!!!  It will be June in Manson/Chelan which means that it will likely be warm and sunny so dress to be comfortable.  If you decide to wear shoes, we will have some extra flip-flops so you can take your shoes off but we suggest you just leave your shoes at home and bring your favorite pair of sandals.  

Our reception will follow the ceremony but the location is still to be determined so stay tuned. We will have a fun and casual potluck style dinner and plenty of food, cocktails, beer, and wine so bring your appetite.  If anyone has any food allergies, are vegetarians or children that will only eat certain things please contact us ahead of time so that we can have something for everyone.

Together with our families, we will be spending the week of June 14-21st in Manson/Chelan. If you are interested in spending the week in Manson/Chelan and need help finding lodging and making reservations please let us know so that we can help you with the logistics if necessary. Many of the vacation rentals do not considered this the prime/main season so most the rentals are still at off-season prices (a bit more reasonable).  

We hope that all of you will not only be able to attend the wedding and reception but will be able to share the experiences of the week with us.

Chris is the best thing that has happened to me. As soon as I met him I knew that he was  the one (corny  I know, but true). Chris is an amazing person he has shared his wonderful family and friends with me, and open my eyes to the world.  He is even able to handle my crazy family, that I love dearly. I love him for what we have already shared, and I love him in anticipation for all that's to come.

Heidi Bennett

Heidi Bennett is the best thing to happen to me!!!  I know everyone says that about the one they are going to marry but it is true.  Since I have met her I know that I have become a better person and she has helped me put life into perspective.  Prior to meeting Heidi I was kind of a lost soul.  I did not know what I really wanted to do in life and I did not know what was really important.  Life is not about what you do it is about how you do it!!!  She shared with me her love for her family and in turn helped me appreciate even more how amazing and important my family is to me.  Our families are the best possible and we are so lucky to have them in our lives.  I am incredibly, incredibly lucky that she has said yes to marrying me and growing old with me.

Chris and Heidi's Wedding

We will be exchanging our vows on Friday the 19th of June 2009 at 4:00pm in Willow Point Park in Manson, WA.  We are in the process of sending out our invitations and gathering more information so please stay tuned as we will post updates and new posts regularly.  If you cannot make the ceremony we would  love for you to join us at the reception.  We look forward to sharing and celebrating our love with all of you and we will post more information regarding the wedding and reception very soon.
